Who we are
Vamana Labs provides commerce, inventory, marketing, and automation software for independent retailers. References to “Vamana,” “we,” or “our” mean Vamana Labs, the operator of vamana-labs.com and the Vamana application.
Information we collect
- Account and business information, including names, email addresses, store details, staff roles, and support communications.
- Commerce information that merchants choose to connect or upload, such as products, inventory, orders, customers, suppliers, and purchase documents.
- Integration data authorized by a merchant, including data from point-of-sale, messaging, accounting, and Google services.
- Technical information such as device, browser, IP address, authentication events, and application diagnostics.
How we use information
- Provide, secure, support, and improve the Vamana service.
- Perform merchant-requested actions and operate connected integrations.
- Generate drafts, classifications, forecasts, and other AI-assisted outputs for merchant review.
- Prevent abuse, diagnose failures, maintain audit records, and comply with law.
- Communicate about the service, security, onboarding, and support.
Google user data
Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. The specific Google Business Profile data we access, its purpose, retention, and deletion process are described in our Google Data Use disclosure.
AI processing
Vamana may process merchant-provided information with configured AI service providers to produce requested outputs. AI-generated content is presented as assistance and may require merchant review before an external action is taken. We do not sell merchant data or use Google user data for advertising.
Sharing
We share information only with service providers needed to operate Vamana, integrations explicitly connected by a merchant, professional advisers where necessary, or authorities when legally required. Service providers are limited to processing data for contracted purposes.
Security and retention
We use access controls, tenant isolation, encryption in transit, and encryption at rest for sensitive integration credentials. We retain information while an account is active and as needed for legitimate operational, security, contractual, and legal purposes. Retention varies by data category and merchant configuration.
Your choices
- Disconnect integrations from Vamana settings or the provider’s authorization controls.
- Request access, correction, export, or deletion of account data.
- Contact us about privacy or data-handling questions.
